Pesca Seafood, what a hidden gem in Brugse Poort! From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how impeccably clean the restaurant was, and the service was nothing short of excellent. The fish on display looked incredibly fresh, which set the tone for the meal.
We started with the paella to share, and it was truly superb. My partner and his mom, who lived in Spain for over 10 years, know good paella, and its really good by their standards. The flavors were authentic, and every bite was delicious. We followed that up with a seafood platter, and the fish was cooked and fried to absolute perfection. The homemade sauces were a fantastic addition, tasty, flavorful, and they even brought me an extra spicy one after hearing how much I love spice, which was such a thoughtful touch. Very Mediterranean sauces! Oh, and there’s bread on the side too, which makes the sauce a great dipping!
The service also deserves a shout-out and his hospitality was top notch.
We will absolutely be returning to Pesca Seafood, and I highly recommend it to anyone in Ghent looking for quality seafood. This place definitely deserves all the love—it’s truly a hidden gem!- Service

Best place for seafood lovers, you can choose your what you want to eat at the counter then they will fry them (waiting just 10-15 mins depending how busy they are). My portion is huge including bread + homemade sauce. The staffs are so friendly. 10/10 and highly recommended folks.

This seafood restaurant is really good choice if you are looking for fresh fish. its so much better than the ones in Brussels and Antwerp together. The fish was clearly fresh and the owner and the staff are very friendly. its a nice atmosphere to sit. i can recommend the paella and the homemade tiramisu. i will come back for sure!
